The Proceedings of the 21st International Likhachov Scientific Conference held on May 25–26, 2023 in St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences were published in the present collection in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin No. 587, May 23, 2001 “On perpetuating the memory of Dmitry Sergeyevich Likhachov”. Representatives of 11 countries took part in the 21st Conference.
